Rodney did a great job sharing with us the depth of the love between he and his grandmother. He also allows us to think deeply about situations in our own lives that mirrored some of his experiences. I love how he intermingled the hymns that we grew up, along with poems that made me stop, reflect and think about the future. Excellent read. 5+ stars for Mr. Rodney Dean Boyden

What an inspiring autobiography! I laughed...I cried...I reread several chapters of this book as I reflected on life lessons and bits of wisdom the writer shared. As a former elementary school educator,my only wish is that every child had a grandmother like Mrs.Pauline Boyden.
Exceptional book. I was so captivated by the story, I stayed up until daylight to complete the book. Each chapter gave practical ways of utilizing steps of wisdom to apply to your every day life. I will be referring back to this book when certain situations arise for additional guidance. The genuine love interwoven from Grandmother to grandson and vise versa is profoundly exceptional. This book was definitely worth the read. Can't wait for the next book! Thank you Rodney Boyden for sharing your life journey!
